Steps to Break the Rebound Headache Cycle In my occupation I have opportunity to talk to many people from various parts of the United States. -Coffee -Sugar -Alcohol (red wine is the worst but any kind of alcohol affected me) -MSG (which is added (under different names) to many foods to enhance flavor, in a lot of Chinese food for example) I highly recommend that anyone caught up in the "rebound headache cycle" lay off these food items right away and see if it makes a difference. By following a plan like this you should be able to tell whether this food leads to headaches or whether you can partake of it without receiving headaches.. I feel confident that after a month you may very well feel large improvement. Sometimes, even after these three steps are taken, headaches may be greatly reduced but still occur occasionally. Personal experience plus advice by Medical Doctors as well at Naturopathic Physicians confirms that over-use of many of the com over-the-counter headache medications produce rebound headaches. Granted, Immatrex can knock out some powerful headaches but almost every single time I took the pain killer (and it was more than 60) I would get a rebound headache 18-24 hours later, and often it would be worse than the original. And once these changes are made, the benefits are incredible. If you feel you just need to know if you can eat a certain food or not, follow this strategy.
